Turntable mats offer a wide range of possibilities to influence sound reproduction while enhancing the visual appearance of a record player. The Analogis Mat Five is designed to combine tonal refinement with effective static control through a carefully engineered dual-layer construction.
Soft felt emphasizes the bass and midrange, creating a warm and balanced sound character. Carbon fibres, on the other hand, have conductive properties that typically dissipate static charge via the centre spindle and grounding path. The Mat Five combines both materials, delivering a moderate boost in bass and mid frequencies while providing effective anti-static performance.
With a material thickness of just 1.3 mm, this turntable mat can be placed directly on top of an existing rubber platter mat without requiring tonearm height or cartridge re-adjustment. Its relatively firm structure also allows it to be used as a slipmat for scratch and DJ applications.
Finished in black, the Analogis Mat Five is suitable both as a sound-tuning upgrade and as a functional anti-static solution. It can also be combined in sandwich configurations with other platter mats for further fine-tuning.
