Custom-Made Idler Tire Replacement

This option is intended for selected vintage audio and video equipment where an idler tire is required but a confirmed replacement is not currently listed as a standard product.

WebSpareParts may be able to evaluate a custom-made idler tire replacement using the original tire, clear photos, measurements or workshop reference information.

Idler tires are commonly used in cassette decks, VCRs, recorders, turntables and other vintage mechanisms to transfer motion between pulleys, wheels or drive assemblies. When the rubber becomes hard, cracked, glazed, swollen or worn, the mechanism may slip, fail to engage or lose correct transport function.

• The tire width / thickness.
