Made from genuine cow suede leather, this turntable mat provides outstanding vibration damping. The soft suede material enhances bass foundation and midrange presence, resulting in a balanced and natural sound character. Leather does not absorb static electricity and therefore does not transfer static charge to the vinyl record, supporting quieter playback.
Compared to smooth leather, suede conforms more effectively to both the record and the platter, ensuring optimal contact and improved damping. Finished in a deep red color, the Mat Six Red can be used as a direct replacement for standard rubber platter mats or as an anti-slip turntable mat.
If minor lint formation occurs initially, cleaning with a standard lint roller or a silicone roller such as the Analogis DeDuster is recommended.
