The DeDuster uses an extra-soft, highly adhesive silicone roller that gently rolls over the record surface. The silicone penetrates deep into the grooves, effectively picking up dust, dirt, and lint without damaging the vinyl. Its roller width is perfectly matched to standard LP records, allowing quick and efficient cleaning.

After use, the silicone roller can be easily cleaned by rinsing it under clear water. For heavier soiling, a mild soapy solution can be used. Once dry, the silicone regains its adhesive properties and is ready for repeated use. The durable plastic handle ensures precise control during cleaning.

For best results, records should be cleaned on a suitable surface such as the optional Analogis Workmat. After cleaning, storing records in clean, anti-static inner sleeves is recommended to maintain long-term cleanliness. Beyond vinyl records, the DeDuster can also be used as a lint roller for CDs, Blu-rays, circuit boards, screens, and even clothing.
